Peaked is a coaching platform operated by Peaked LLC (“Peaked”, “we”, “us”), a company based in Florida, United States. It is used by two kinds of people: coaches, who run their coaching business on Peaked, and athletes, who are coached through it. This policy explains what personal data we collect from both, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted. It covers the Peaked website and the Peaked mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Data we collect

We collect the following categories of data.

  • Account data. Your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and the password you set. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider and are never visible to us or to your coach.
  • Coaching and health data. The information you or your coach record in order to deliver coaching: body weight and measurements, progress photos, training plans and workout logs, cardio logs, meal plans and food logs, goals, competition dates, check-in questionnaire answers, and any supplement, medication or protocol notes your coach keeps for you. Some of this is health-related and we treat it as sensitive.
  • Payment data. Subscription status, payment history and invoices. Card numbers and bank details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored on Peaked’s servers.
  • Communications. Messages sent between you and your coach inside Peaked, comments, appointment bookings, and email we send you or that you send us. If a coach connects their Google account, email exchanged with their own clients and leads is shown in their Peaked inbox.
  • Files you upload. Documents, images and videos you or your coach add to the platform.
  • Business and lead data (coaches only). If you are a coach, the contact details and application-form responses of the leads and clients you bring into your own Peaked workspace, along with your notes, tasks, offers and contracts.
  • Technical data. Your IP address, device and browser type, app version, push-notification tokens if you enable notifications, log and diagnostic records of how the app is used, and the security events described below.

How we use your data

We use your data only to run the service you signed up for. Specifically, to:

  • create and secure your account and sign you in;
  • deliver coaching — show your coach the training, nutrition and check-in data they need, and show you the plans they build for you;
  • process subscription payments between an athlete and their coach;
  • send you transactional and service email and, if you opt in, push notifications and reminders;
  • provide customer support when you contact us;
  • keep the platform safe and working — detect abuse, debug faults, and maintain the records we are legally required to keep.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your coaching or health data for advertising.

Who we share data with

Your coach can see the coaching data associated with your account — that is the purpose of the platform. Coaches on a team may also grant access to their assistant coaches. A coach can view your athlete account in a read-through mode to help you; every such session is logged.

Beyond that, we share data only with the service providers that make Peaked work, and only as far as each needs:

  • Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
  • Amazon Web Services (S3) — storage of exercise and content media.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Postmark and Resend — sending transactional and notification email.
  • FatSecret — the food and nutrition database used to look up foods and macros.
  • Google — only if a coach chooses to connect their Gmail account, so their client email appears in their Peaked inbox.
  • Loom — only if a coach records or shares a video message.
  • Apple and Google — delivery of push notifications to your device.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend a legal claim. If Peaked is ever involved in a merger or acquisition, we will tell you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Storage and security

Peaked’s data is stored in the United States (AWS us-east-1). Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and encrypted at rest by our infrastructure providers.

Access is enforced in the database itself through row-level security, not merely hidden in the interface: a coach can only reach their own clients’ records, and an athlete can only reach their own. Administrative credentials are held server-side only and are never shipped to a browser or a phone. If you are outside the United States, using Peaked involves transferring your data to the United States.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as we have a reason to, and that reason is stated here rather than left open-ended.

  • While your account is open — your account data, coaching data, messages and uploaded files are retained for as long as your account exists, so that you and your coach keep access to your history.
  • When you delete your account — your profile and your coaching data (training and cardio logs, meal and food logs, weight and measurement entries, check-in submissions, goals, protocol notes and your uploaded files) are deleted from our live systems as part of the deletion, not queued for later.
  • Financial and transaction records are kept, in anonymised form. Payment, invoice and subscription records connected to your coach’s business are retained after your deletion because your coach and Peaked are required to keep accurate financial records for tax and accounting purposes. Your identifying link to those records is removed at the moment of deletion, so what remains is a transaction, not a person. We retain these for up to 7 years.
  • Message and access logs. For the same reason, the message history and coach-access audit log held by your coach’s business are retained with your reference removed.
  • Backups. Deleted data may persist in encrypted, access-controlled backups for up to 30 days after deletion, after which the backups themselves expire. We do not restore a backup in order to recover data you asked us to delete.
  • Support correspondence. Email you send to our support address is kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up on your issue.
  • Dormant accounts. If an account is unused for 24 months we may contact you at your registered address and, if we get no response, delete the account under the rules above.

Deleting your data

You can delete your Peaked account yourself, at any time, from inside the app or the website. You do not need to contact us and you do not need to give a reason.

  • In the mobile app — open Settings, choose Delete My Account, and type DELETE to confirm.
  • On the website — go to Settings → Profile, choose Delete My Account, and type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Any active subscription is cancelled first, so you are not billed after your account is gone. If you are an athlete, your coach keeps the anonymised financial and message records described under Data retention. If you are a head coach, deleting your account also cancels every client subscription on your account and releases your athletes, who keep their own accounts without a coach.

If you cannot sign in — for example you have lost access to your email — you can request deletion by writing to support@peaked.pro from the address on your account, with the subject Data deletion request. We will verify that the request is yours and complete it within 30 days.

You can also ask us to delete specific data without closing your account — see Delete Account for the full description of what deletion removes and what it keeps.

Cookies and similar technologies

Peaked uses cookies and equivalent device storage for the things the platform cannot work without: keeping you signed in, remembering your display preferences, and protecting against fraudulent or automated sign-in attempts. The mobile apps use the device’s own secure storage for the same purpose rather than browser cookies.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run third-party advertising trackers on Peaked. Blocking essential cookies in your browser will stop you being able to sign in.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or restrict how we use it. You can object to a particular use, and you can withdraw a consent you previously gave — for example by turning off push notifications or disconnecting a Google account.

Most of this you can do directly in the app: your profile is editable, and deletion is self-service. For anything else, write to support@peaked.pro and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you or degrade your service for exercising any of these rights. If you are in the EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Peaked is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact support@peaked.pro and we will delete it. Athletes under 18 should use Peaked only with a parent or guardian’s involvement.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and move the “last updated” date above. If the change is significant we will also tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
